The opening MC was his Dad. he took a few minutes to share a few things about his son and then promptly handed it over. How f'n cool is that!!
KWS hit the stage on fire. I mean from the first note he just lite it up. I was laughing with pure joy watching him shred every single cord. I haven't seen this energy and flat-out raw talent and enthusiasm in a long, long time. I had a blast. The audience had a blast. The band members had a blast. Noah Hunt was tremendous as well as the drummer, key boardist and bass player. One of the highlights was the bassist solo. Older fella (my age lol). He just got to boogie and groove, and it was so infectious amongst everyone. Kenny Wayne and Noah had a seat on the drummers stand and watched listened and smiled and laughed right along with the rest of us. I'm telling you, if you wanna go see a modern electric blues concert and enjoy it from the beginning to end...
